History

PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) started in Pluit, North Jakarta. The property and infrastructure company is owned by DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, and was originally an Environmental Management Agency (Badan Pengelola Lingkungan/BPL) to manage the Pluit area, which was established in 1960.

In September 1997, using legacy assets from BPL Pluit, PT Pembangunan Pluit Jaya was established. Three years later, in December 15, 2000, it was merged with PT. Pembangunan Pantai Utara Jakarta, and becoming PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) as the sub holding to the Regional Government‐Owned Enterprises in the field of property, owned by DKI Jakarta government.

PT Jakarta Propertindo has posted brilliant portfolios such as Pluit modern area development, Pulo Mas integrated area, land reclamation, office building, residence, shopping center, and other public facility constructions.

During its journey, PT Jakarta Propertindo has expanded from the property sector to the infrastructure sector since 2005. The projects covered the construction of toll roads, reservoirs, and other infrastructures. Finally in 2013, focus of the company’s activities was divided into three sub holdings: property, infrastructure, and utilities.

Armed with long experience, asset, strong management and resources, PT Jakarta Propertindo continues to expand and strengthen itself, not only as a profit based company, but also as a development agent which contributes to the wider society.
